Article 16 Digital Services Act notice route

To report specific content you believe is illegal, email hello@joinplato.app with the subject “DSA content notice”. The route is available without a Plato account.

Required information

Please include:

  • the exact electronic location, such as a recipe, household, or content identifier or a unique link;
  • a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the specific content is illegal, including the affected law and country;
  • your name and email; the only exception is for notices concerning information relating to an offence under Articles 3 to 7 of Directive 2011/93/EU (sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of children, or child pornography) under Article 16(2)(c) DSA;
  • the statement: “I have a good-faith belief that the information and allegations contained in this notice are accurate and complete.”

Attach only evidence needed for review and redact unnecessary personal data.

Receipt, review, and decision

We promptly acknowledge receipt at the email supplied. We review in a timely, diligent, objective, and proportionate way and communicate the decision and available redress. A notice does not automatically cause removal. Where required, affected recipients receive a clear and specific statement of reasons. Suspected offences involving a threat to life or safety are handled under Article 18 DSA.

Privacy

We process notice data to comply with Articles 16–18 DSA under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR and for legal claims under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. See the Privacy Policy.

Submit a structured content notice

The limited required fields reflect Article 16(2) DSA. Further classifications are optional; you need neither a specific statutory citation nor a Plato account.

A unique link or specific recipe, household, or content identifier. Do not enter credentials.
Explain specifically which content violates which rule and why.
Do not enter sensitive data or data about uninvolved people. Include external links only where necessary for review.

We use the information only to process and document this notice. Submitting it triggers no analytics or marketing event in our application; technically necessary security logs are described in the Privacy Policy. The notice and receipt record is normally deleted automatically no later than four years after receipt; mandatory retention duties and specific legal claims remain unaffected.
